Technical writer, 8 years in IT, worked at Yandex, 1cloud, Oblako.kz, Stormbpmn. I write documentation, articles, FAQ in plain language for people and AI. I speak the same language as Dev and Ops teams. I work with SEO, GEO, AEO.
The most important thing first:
- I work with Docs-as-Code.
- I use git, GitHub, GitHub Actions.
- I work with style guides and do not work with GOST standards.
My materials are a dialogue with the reader. Each article is a solution to a specific problem, not an article for the sake of an article. In my materials I share experience and solve users' pain points.
Experience, achievements and contribution
I went from being a Junior copywriter at a small company, writing emails for email campaigns, to a Senior technical writer in big tech, understanding architecture and processes.
Some achievements:
- I wrote over 100 technical articles for corporate blogs, many of which made it into Yandex GEO and Google.
- I created a repository with Terraform scenarios for deploying YDB on servers for YDB users, as part of a business task to expand the platform coverage of the service.
- I developed my own Markdown preprocessor for creating universally portable documentation sources in Markdown format between VuePress and Mkdocs.
- I built from scratch, based on helpdesk articles, the documentation for Stormbpmn in 6 months — from idea and drafts to the production version of documentation on the website.
